Construction Details:

So I decided to make this costume, 1 month before Fanime, and basically had 2 weeks to sew the jacket when I finally ordered all my goodies online.



The wig was styled by "Craziecrissiewigz" and was an Arda "Nina" in Peach. Her work is lovely go see her.



The jacket was a modified blazer, pain in the ass but super worth it. Made my own bias tape for it too.



Shoes were bought off Ebay, and the side panels were painted white. The pink laces were bought off etsy.

The sword was also a kit purchased off etsy from "AzureProps" assembled and painted by me.



Shoulder Epaulets or however you spell that, were also from "Unique Cosplay Props" I made and assembled the fringe myself.



Socks were hand dyed to also match the jacket, because it's surprisingly difficult to find a nice suiting in a rose color.

Personal Thoughts:

I originally made this for a pink magical girl group, that I also wore Komugi for. I'm a newer fan of Utena, but I've always admired how beautiful it is. I'm really happy to have finally sat down and read the manga!

I love this costume with all of my heart and soul. It's so cute. It's so comfy. It's so cool. <br />
