Construction Details:

I started by patterning the blue halter by using the old plastic wrap on dressform trick, then edited it to fit my body. I then trimmed it with PVC and hand stitched on the "boob cups" (also pvc)

I cut out a few versions of the sleeve before I got it right and ironed on velcro to hold the armor.

For the corset, I used a pattern from Mcalls and edited it. It's made of PVC and lined with Broadcloth. It's fully boned and hot as heck.

The white sashes were made from long strips of stretchy fabric and the stockings and shorts were made from a pair of shiny leggings. The stockings don't stay up well, so in the future I will probably wear a store bought pair.

The skirts were made from a rectangle of cornflower blue charmuese and gathered at the top and bottom to create the ruffle.

The armor is made from EVA foam and Craft foam.

Personal Thoughts:

I love Aqua. She's caring and brave, and everything I strive to be as a person. Her costume design is also nothing to sneeze at.

Styling Notes

Used thinning shears to trim and Got 2 B Glued hairspray and hair gel to spike

Held the style well and was comfortable to wear.
