Construction Details:

Dress is pretty simple construction- skirt is a circle skirt and I have a light petticoat underneath to puff it out slightly. Was lazy on the hair bow and just used a normal red ribbon with sealed edges and tied it to a hair clip.

Personal Thoughts:

I???ve cosplayed Sheryl in the past and still love and adore her but was super obsessed with Macross so somehow ended up with wigs from basically all of the main cast haha! So I had a ton of excess yellow knit from when I used to work at Joann and thought this dress of Ranka would be a good project for it! It???s super comfortable and cute I love it!

Styling Notes

Made the bangs more poofy, styled in an ahoge, trimmed the bangs to be choppy blunt like Ranka's, and removed the hair clips from the pigtails so that they would lay a little flatter against the head

Wig Review

Wish the wig matched the photos, I was lead to believe I was getting something different, but in the end I made it work!
