Construction Details:

I used Cosplay McCalls/Josh Hart's Pattern and made a few alterations, adding an attached bolero, overskirt layer, and ruffled section in front under the apron. I also added the train. The thigh highs are leggings constructed out of tactel lycra. The shoes were a pair of wedges I covered with the green velvet and then embellished. The hat is made with two layers of craft foam and 12 gauge wire sandwiched in the middle, covered with velvet and then I attached all the trims. All the beads were hand stitched on.

Personal Thoughts:

Whew what whirlwind!! I made this in three weeks. So much GREEN!

Styling Notes

For the pumpkin I made a base of chicken wire and covered it with a stuffed fleece "pumpkin." I then glued fleece inside the cage well to completely cover the wires. Then I glued and used Got2BGlued on 3 packs of Silky long wefts to cover the piece. I made a craft foam heart and covered that with fleece and hair as well to cover the top of the pumpkin, and surrounded all that with a braid. It is held onto the base wig with some stitching. The hat is two layers of craft foam sandwiching some 12 gauge wire, and covered with fabric. Then I glued on the odds and ends and stitched the crystal chain to it.
