Construction Details:

I love this dress. I knew I wanted to make it when I first saw it in Season 5! I ended up finding 7 yards of a basket-weave cream chenille upholstery fabric for $10 at a yard sale in summer of 2017 and set to work. I used every last bit of the fabric for the over dress, which is fully lined in cotton and padded with crinoline and quilt batting.

The underdress is made from ivory crushed taffeta that I dyed with tea to give it a muted, beige color. The shoulder fur is rabbit that I colored to a darker tone using cinnamon.

I made the Tully fish pins from two pewter trout pins, curtain rings, and Worbla. And the wig is a Sepia brand wig, Dahlia in Fox Red.
