Construction Details:

The top is cotton with eyelet lace trim and a grosgrain ribbon bow.
The skirt is full circle skirt and made of satin, though I used the non-shiny underside. It's trimmed with even more eyelet lace that I gathered by hand because I enjoy torturing myself. The waistband is cotton and the matching bow snaps in place in the back. I wore a petticoat under it to get a bit of poof. The shoes are stinking cute pale pink heels from Amazon. The pearl stud earrings are by Starlighslk!

Personal Thoughts:

I've always wanted to make this outfit, but couldn't find a pink plaid I liked until now! I'm proud of it because, even though it's simple, I feel like it's better made than a lot of my older costumes. It's kind of become a tradition to make a new casual Usagi for NYCC and this was a really fun project. I felt cute wearing it :)
