Construction Details:

I was actually able to purchase a majority of the pieces of this costume which both surprised and disgusted me cuz wow this jacket is hideous lol. Wig information will be included in the wig review below.

Eyepatch: Basic costume eyepatches seemed too large for my liking, so I traced one out onto some black pleather and ponte with 1/4th inch seam allowance and just made my own. The elastic I used ended up being too tight, so I actually snipped it in the back and just pinned the strips to my wig cap under my wig. Go figure, Majima's eyepatch renders under his hair anyway.

Jacket: I settled with a Newport News womens jacket that I found on ebay for like $25. Another brand I considered was Chicos, but that style had a higher cut and was very flashy gold (might work if you're into his gaudy movie design)

Tattoos: I used Tattify tattoo paper for inkjet printers to print out his tattoos. A majority of the Yakuza boy's tattoos are available online, and I just ripped out what I needed and adjusted the size to fit one sheet of tattoo paper. This stuff is pricey so be as efficient as possible with it. Sadly, the images I found of Majima's tattoos weren't the best quality, so they looked a little fuzzy up close. I should also note that I only selected the major parts that are on his chest, since I would be doing open-chest binding and in no way was I planning to remove my jacket. Additionally, I did some color correction edits in photoshop to try and make the design more vivid.

Necklaces: Apparently if Majima doesn't have the snake on his eyepatch, he has two chain necklaces. When he does have the snake (Yakuza 3-present) he only has one. @_@ Regardless, I found two super cheap necklaces on ebay and I'll be good for whatever version I decide to do.

Gloves: Black driving gloves found on.... ebay! I personally think what I have is a little too thick, but man they're warm at least. I may look for thinner driving gloves to replace them in the future.

Pants: I originally had a pair of leather pants for him, but they were high-waist and I would have needed to alter the waistband to go below my bellybutton and I was running out of time. Instead, I used a pair of black slacks that appeared to do just the trick.

Shoes: I found a pair of boots similar in style to Majima's and just painted the toe parts with some silver acrylic. I'm going to need to replace these, as they ended up being two sizes too small on me X.X
The shoes he actually wears exist irl so if they're reasonable in price... I might...

Styling Notes

Majima has a silly undercut hairstyle that is often times difficult to translate into a wig. Luckily, Arda just put out some undercut hairstyle wigs that I was eager to try. I went with a black top and an Ash Black underside to mimic the shaved hair Majima has. I needed to move the parting of the wig, as well as trim it. My major concern was that this wig was THICK. There was so much hair on the top it looked a little silly. I actually removed about 5 or 6 rows of wefts as an attempt to thin it out. I got it to a point where I was happy with it and just kinda let it go.
