Construction Details:

This costume took one week to construct. My mom and I had to use 3 different McCall's patterns as well as references from other cosplayers to achieve the classic look. This was the first time we attached a collar to a garment and the first time my mom learned to sew darts. Our Joann's revamped their fabrics recently and my mom had to use a thicker fabric for the apron (not recommended...lol) Our blue came from Hobby Lobby (unsure of exact color). I wanted to stay truer to the color of Disney's animated Alice rather than the blue seen in the parks.

Personal Thoughts:

Alice has always been a character I have adored. I love her curiousity and imagination.

Styling Notes

Things I learned (still learning wig styling)....DO NOT CUT STRAIGHT ACROSS. Trim bangs at an angle so they look more natural. Learning something new each day!

Wig Review

A different style of wig would be advised for Alice. The bangs did not come from the crown.
