Construction Details:

I used Casa Satin in Medieval Blue for all of the navy blue parts (skirt, collar, choker, and glove rolls) and Casa Satin in Sunshine for the front bow. Also made a gold one in Casa Ochre, but the tone of the gold didn't flatter my skin tone plus the wig as much as the sunshine yellow did.

nThe boots were originally tan and I painted them black, and then blue over top of that to get the Navy blue shade. The suit is matte spandex and lined as well! The brooch is made of resin.

Personal Thoughts:

My sixth scout I've done, and honestly, the last one I ever thought I'd do! The blonde scouts always intimidated me because I have such dark hair, and my skin tone can be hard to find blondes for, but Uranus ended up being a little easier because her blonde is a more natural shade as opposed to a cartoony yellow like Venus or Moon. While I definitely could go for a more natural shade for the other two, I feel it takes away from their bright and fun color palettes, while with Uranus, toning down her colors is not only accurate, I feel it adds to the air of maturity about her. Aside from that, I'm also often not fond of short hair on me, but I think I pull off Uranus much better than I could have ever anticipated!

I love that the wig hides all of my dark hair! Even long blonde wigs struggle to hide my hair, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had no issues with this one!
