Construction Details:

This took a week of no sleep to create and should have gotten more time. However, the headpiece was complete from scratch and took one wig and a million wefts, and the headpiece was the first of its kind for me. In addition to a lot of light leather-work, this also involved the good ol' cosplay diet and workout to get the physique to match.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume wanted to kill me. I didn't get to sleep for an actual week, and I missed my flight to Anime Expo packing because I hadn't finished. But it was to shoot with Dave Yang, and so I have no regrets excluding my terrible skull weapons.

Styling Notes

Used foam shapes to create the hair horns and sewed them onto the base wig. Lots and lots of layering with tacky glue later, I had the wig style, and I affixed buckle snaps to the wig front to help hold the headpiece up.

Wig Review

I loved this wig and I got a LOT of wefts for my money. It was a bit shiny, but it was easily fixed on the base with some dry shampoo and the tacky glue for the hair horns toned it down in a nice way.
