About this Costume
Construction Details:
The main robe is two pieces for my own sanity. I used an old Cosmode haori/yukata pattern for the top and draped my own for the bottom. The triangles are attached with heat and bond and top stitched. The obi was enforced with heavy duty fusible interfacing and has velcro and hooks at the back to keep it closed. The cowl is a bias-cut tube that was stitched and turned out, with a flat fell seam at the back that was tacked down to help it drape nicely. The leg "wraps" are simple spandex leg warmers with strips of fabric sewn to them to mimic wraps.

The horn is a latex prosthetic that I made by sponging latex over a clay mold. It was painted with PAX paint and attached with pros aide. I made the tail by following a fursuit tutorial on how to make a dragon tail out of upholstery foam. It attaches around my waist using 2" nylon belting. The trident is EVA foam and PVC pipe covered in worbla, made to break down into 3 pieces for traveling.
Personal Thoughts:
Hi hello I am dragon.
