Construction Details:

Made the blouse using an old sized for juniors New Look pattern (6338). It was the same pattern that I used for my Sakura Haruno blouse. I just modified it a bit. I also used it for the white undershirt which is really just a collar piece. I found a tutorial for the box pleated skirt and made it over the course of a few days. Pretty simple to make and the wool fabric I used held the pleats really nicely. I'm so happy with how this costume came together!

My wig was made by Quantum Destiny. I purchased her wig when she decided to sell it. Her Madoka costume was inspirational to me so her wig really brought my costume to the next level. (^^)

Personal Thoughts:

I've been interested in Cosplaying as Madoka since 2011. I just love the uniforms from this series. I think the design has such interesting details. It took me several years to get around to making it, but I'm so happy with the final result! It took me 3 months to make over the winter of 2017 and a lot of trial and error, but it was really worth all the blood, sweat and tears!
