Construction Details:

I cheated and used silver metallic elastic instead of making bias tape. Other than that, I just used my basic patterns from previous costumes and wow I can't believe I had to put shoulder boards on a cape that had no shoulder seam. There was a lot of hand-stitching involved. The rest is just basic 2way stretch cotton/rayon blend stuff, rare for me but it's also completely not lined hahaha

Personal Thoughts:

I wanted to make a new Hakuoki cos for the official Festival hosted by Idea Factory International! So I jumped into the new designs for the rebel side in the game and found HIRARIN character! he's not a romance-able route, but he's part of Ryoma's story in history and in the game. Anyway, you know me and uniform. Also capes seem to be a thing for me lately.
