Construction Details:

As simple as the outfit looks, I actually put some work into it. The Blake Friday shirt was a gift from a friend, and I cut the neckline wider and cut small slits up the sides of the shirt. I bought a pair of white capri pants from the local thrift store and then realized after buying them that they were heavily stained on the seat. So I bought stain remover (found with the fabric dye in most craft stores) and successfully removed the stains. I also bought this really cute trim from the craft store. I cut the capris into shorts and sewed the trim on. I then went to Victoria's Secret and bought a couple of sports bras that I thought Blake would wear, and my friends helped me decide which to wear with this outfit. I used wig (eBay), hair bow (made for my previous Blake cosplay), and sandals that I already owned.

Personal Thoughts:

Wanted to do something casual because some friends wanted to do a full RWBY group of the main four girls and none of us had time to make their Volume 4 outfits, so we settled on putting something casual together, complete with shutter shades and glow sticks! This was a blast and we were all so perfectly in-character (we ARE the characters!). I would love to cosplay as RWBY again with these girls!
