Personal Thoughts:

The manga artwork where Serenity is walking on water is what inspired my color choices for this costume. This was a big undertaking for me because I really wanted to improve my skills with fit and construction. I actually had an amazing time making this until the beads at the waist broke off the thread THREE different times. They're on there really well now, but I think I'm going to end up replacing them with pearls the next time I wear this because they'd show up better in photos. I also want to bead the bodice more, make a new back bow (this one's from my white Serenity dress), and possibly new sleeves.

Styling Notes

I DID NOT STYLE THIS WIG! My dear dear friend, Sillywhims did and she did and fantastic job. I especially love the bangs! I want to possibly try to make another set of pigtails for it though, the beads on my bodice got tangled in the wig fiber and really messed them up ;__;
