Literally everything was made from scratch. E v e r y t h i n g.
I took apart a boy's hoodie for the jacket pattern as it was appropriately tiny and fitted enough to work for Cindy. The jacket itself is a bright yellow spandex that I hand basted to cotton twill for structure before assembling all the panels (and there was a LOT). The pink-orange inserts are backed with interfacing and had to be hand-sewn in before they were machine stitched. Both the Hammerhead "patches" on the back and hat were vectored by me and applied with t-shirt transfer paper.
I based the shorts off an existing pair I owned and patterned them with the additional seam lines seen in the game renders for ~extra accuracy. All the seams have a mock felled finish and there are back pockets for utility!
The top was a feat in underwear engineering as I wanted to have an actual triangle bikini top but needed the support of a push up bra, and I wanted it to match the pink in the jacket. I layered two push up bra cups--one hard and one soft--and cut them down to the shape I needed. I then stretched the fabric I had over it on the bias so that it would lay smooth and tacked it down. The edges were finished with bias tape made from the same fabric that extended up the ties for the back and neck, which used some spare shoelaces I had as a base.
I found a ball cap hat pattern on Pinterest and slightly modified it. It's a bit small for my head with the wig so I plan to remake it at some point. The belt and pouches were made from upholstery vinyl and the boots were booties from Ardene that I glued simple boot covers over. - Personal Thoughts:
