Construction Details:

We started constructing these a bit close to the deadline, so it was a challenge to make! I took care of all the plastic accessories, the mini stars, belt buckle, and the diamond broach for all the girls! I use white plastic and gold casting powders to get the metallic gold color :) I sourced etsy shops for the gold strap trim and chain we used as well! They really add an elegant vibe to the design!

nThe dress itself is a princess seam bodice with a pleated circle skirt. The group opted for sequins, which made the skirt a bit heavy, and wasn't the most fun fabric to work with haha. The ruffles were all hand-gathered and made from sequin fabric! Since the sequin fabric is on a mesh you have to flat-line it as well.

Personal Thoughts:

My first Haruka costume <3 Haruka is in my top 3 Idolm@ster characters, and for a long time I've pined over cosplaying her. I'm so happy to finally have had the chance to with the Angel Hearts team!

nI will say that I feel like this design doesn't suit Haruka as well as some of the other characters, so I look forward to doing more colorful designs of hers in the future!
