Construction Details:

Yukina was my first cosplay and one of the first costumes I did outside of a sewing class, without assistance from my mom. The kimono is not accurate (I used a Simplicity pattern), but I had fun making it. Moving around in the kimono was a terrible pain, so I have avowed not to make another one (at least for convention purposes). My sister borrowed this for a photo shoot in 2011.

My first official cosplay and the last time that I wear a kimono for that long.

I just trimmed the side bangs and pulled the hair back in a pony tail.

Wig Review

This was my first time buying/wearing a wig. The wig was rather cheap, but durable.
