Construction Details:

I drafted the top on my mannequin and used 5 fabrics for the base part alone. There is the lining, light blue base layer, silver sequin layer, purple teal organza layer, orange detail layer, and the black vinyl layer. I definitely took my time to make sure it fit the way I wanted. I added buckles to the front and eyelets to the back.
nFor the sleeves I used interfacing to make them stand up and black "dancer" material left over from Black Cat. (Which I used up all of it. YAY HORDING)

nThen I moved on to the glove... I don't know why she has to be asymmetrical all the time but damn it I had to make another fricken glove.. getting tired of this shit. I used left over material from my Rapid 99 costume. (YAY HORDING)

nFor the stockings, I used an old pair, drafted where to place the purple netting fabric that I got from a swap meet and tacked it down by hand sewing. This was so dangerous but it turned out correct. I then created orange strips from the same material as the top. I hand sewed some parts down on the opposite leg and then laced it up on the other side...

nFor the belt piece I used the same material as the shirt and used left over chiffons that I had from other projects and draped them on my body. I then accented with left over orange scraps.

nI added booty shorts, shoes, bracelets, and a necklace.

nMy wig I got from Ali Express and TA DA. You're now Sheryl.

Personal Thoughts:

This is one of my dream costumes. I've been wanting to make this for a while. I don't know why it's taken forever for me to make it. I think the lack of references is hard enough but dang.. I'm lazy. It took about a month to fully get enough time to get it done. Work got in the way but I was able to make and wear this which makes me really happy. That's what cosplaying is all about right? And who doesnt love themselves some Sheryl??
