Construction Details:

I originally made the top green as per the promotional poster but changed my mind after the second movie came out. I literally re-made the top in a few days... lol I kept only the skirt and scarf. lol

I changed the way I made the top though by adding a zipper instead of snaps and I like the way it looks better for this one than the other one. Aside from that, everything was pretty straight forward as I have a pattern for the sailor collar. I just struggled with the triangular piece and ensuring that it is straight across by sewing it in awhile that the rough edges don't show up. It worked out after several tries.. unfortunately.

I made the skirt a little lose and long so I might be shortening it for the next time. I don't want to tighten the skirt unfortunately. lol

Personal Thoughts:

Digimon was part of my childhood and one of the first anime series I followed as a kid! One of the best dubbed shows too! So of course when tri came out, I was fangirling like crazy and wanting to cos Hikari again!

Wig Review

I found this wig randomly in my wig box and was like the colour and style was decent for Hikari. It took me awhile to figure out why I bought this wig for.. and I remembered it was Yoh from Shaman King. lol

I had to trim the hair to make it more bob-ish and I also added in the singular bang of hers. I wish I flattened it more as it was still a bit flippy. I also wish I trimmed it a bit more down as well. lol
