Construction Details:

The cos consists of really just the jacket and the chest plate that needed to be made as I had a black t-shirt, black pants, black boots and fingerless gloves already. So it should be quite simple right? Actually not. I decided to be accurate and do it the annoying way of making my own bias tape.. I was drowning in bias tape near the end of it. lol

nThe base of the jacket was straight forward. I really had to modify the back where the shoulders are. All other portions, like the stripes down the arms and the front of the jacket are separate panels where I finished them off with bias tape and sewed it onto the main facing. This made it really thick mind you and sewing everything together was actually quite annoying. lol The most annoying was the collar and I didn't do it as cleanly as I wanted but it still came out right in the end.

nThe chest plate was my first worbla project and it worked out well! The same goes with the arm plate too! The strap where the chest plate sits on was annoying to pattern on the back but I managed to do it. I am also surprised that I was able to attach the bias tape quite cleanly! :D The chest plate is attached with snaps, which was not a good idea but at that point of time, that's what I did. lol

Personal Thoughts:

I like SAO and I liked Kirito as the main protagonist that kept doing what he believed in. I wanted to cos him in the beginning but he apparently was not my first SAO cos I made. lol
