About this Costume
Construction Details:
The skirt and suspenders are matte 4-way stretch knit. The skirt is a t-shirt knit. The shoes are from ebay, and the socks are from Wal-Mart. The earrings are from an Advent Children version of Tifa I never finished from like, 2010. The belt was cut, beveled, dyed, and put together by me. It was my first time using leather and all the materials are from Tandy. The gloves and hair piece are some kind of stretch upholstery leather remnant from Joann's.
n
nThe chest was a wooden chest bought from Joann's that was spray painted metallic black, then had silver dry brushed on top. I used the same black matte fabric for the strappings. The armor is made out of EVA foam and bouncy balls.

The materia are plastic Christmas ornaments that were painted with acrylic and some of them had LEDs installed inside that connect to the gloves so they light up. The rest are given the illusion of lighting up through LEDs in the box. Four of the materia are made from resin, which was poured into a glass ornament and then broken apart (these were used purely as weights).
Personal Thoughts:
I never really wanted to cosplay Tifa, but it really worked out.

Styling Notes
The wig was cut, and the part moved. The bangs and dolphin split in the back are styled with tacky glue. The back also has a piece of wire in-bedded to keep the shape.
