Construction Details:

I ended up making basically everything from scratch, partly to save money, and partly because finding accurate pre-made stuff was proving really difficult.

nThe cargo pants are green twill, and the tank top is a medium-weight t-shirt knit. The jacket is also twill with polyester lining. The patches are from eBay and the belt is from Amazon. The boots were from the depths of my closet.

Personal Thoughts:

I've fallen headfirst into Macross, and convinced my friend to do Ranka Lee with me.

Styling Notes

I ended up having to get the large size due to time constraints, and made it smaller using the dart method. I used the extra hair from the ponytail to cover the seam in the back and add some extra fluffy hair. I also used wefts from the ponytail to add more hair to the front for the "hime" cut. The ponytail itself is about half the hair, taken off the clip and added to the stubbed wig.
