Construction Details:

The dress itself was relatively easy, it's basically like every other puffy dress I make. The hard part about this costume was making the petticoat. I have never made a petticoat or even tried before, so it was definitely challenging for me.
And while I'm still not completely happy with it because it's uneven, I think it's pretty good for my first time!

Personal Thoughts:

Ponyo is definitely one of my favorite Ghibli movies and I was so happy when I finished her costume!! I love Ponyo's character design, it's so cute and simple yet really recognizable.
