Construction Details:

The leotard and base tutu were ordered online, but the rest I sewed myself. The top skirt is sateen with wired ribbon decorations, the arm ruffles are spandex, and the bodice decoration is gold dimensional fabric paint and blue beads. Fun fact, the over skirt fits over my head and doesn't need a zipper.

Personal Thoughts:

The ballet dancing Madoka from the Madoka Magica Concept Movie reminded me of Princess Tutu so much that the idea came to cosplay it and when I found it was feasible, I started working on it! My first costume that I basically made by myself!

Styling Notes

Used a Jeannie wig and an Odango bun instead of the included ponytail.
