Construction Details:

Time: ~15 hrs.

All the white pieces of the costume were made with stretch knit fabric for a "soft" appearance. The corset body was made with microsuede, with the back paneling created using the "wrong" side of the fabric for contrast (I thought it looked pretty cute!) All gold detailing was done with marine vinyl and topstitched. The crown and heart shaped staff were made with craft foam and painted with acrylic paint, and the headphones were purchased off eBay. Wig is an Epic Cosplay Wigs Hestia in Fusion Vanilla Pink straightened with a flat iron.

Personal Thoughts:

There are many parts of this costume I wish I would have done differently in hindsight, but making and wearing it was a great learning experience! It was a little outside of my comfort zone in terms of fitting the garments, so I'm proud to have made that leap.

Styling Notes

The wig was straightened with a flat iron and teased for a bit of fluffy volume. The layers in the hestia allow for a dimensional look that wraps beautifully around the headphones!
