Construction Details:

Because this dress was a bridal size 10, and I'm a 2, it had to be re cut and brought down to my size! I decided that by having the inner layer form fitted to my body, and the outer layer gathered and flowing, it would really capture the concept I was going for! I really wanted to make sense of the dress' design as well! So by adding moon charms and beaded gold appliques, as well as lace to top - I really do believe it helps bring the dress together!

Personal Thoughts:

My serenity dress was 85% made by me. I had spent quite some time studying and researching this dress, just trying to decide how to make it. I really wanted to bring it to life! I wanted to capture the Innocence of Princess Serenity, with the grace and wisdom of Queen Serenity. While browsing online for possible materials to inspire me, I stumbled across a wedding dress and instantly knew what I wanted to do with it!
