Construction Details:

White fabric is polycotton, blue-purple fabric is stretchy polyester, other purple fabric is cotton/cotton blend.

The base dress was built off a bra, onto which I sewed the ruffles, bias tape, and white fabric. The pleated skirt as well as the ruffles on either side are sewn to the bodice...which is a lot of fabric and it kind of looks like a cupcake dress.

The overdress attaches with velcro in the front and is lined with purple bias tape.

To do the patterns on the sleeves, I took an image of the bird symbol and scaled it up and traced it onto the purple fabric. They were painted on with yellow fabric paint.

White tights and shoes were bought.

Personal Thoughts:

Ahhh yes, it was super smart of me to start this two days before AX and expect to have it done in time.<br />

May fix the base dress later~I feel like all the ruffles and gathering make my hips look bigger =/
