Construction Details:

This was my first properly constructed corset. So it is fully lined and steal boned. Other than that it was pretty standard construction. I was lucky and Kuroki had a vintage rabbit fur coat she had and was cutting apart for another costume, so she gave me some to trim out my jacket and chest armor. I was very iffy about the idea of using real fur, and had even gotten some synthetic to use.The fake look so tacky, and after some soul searching and research I decided to go for it. The shield is fun, its a vintage sled I found on ebay and painted it up and added a strap to the back. I love the history in it. You can tell that someone had a good time flying down a hill with it. I was even slightly disappointed that their was no snow at Katsucon, so I didn't get to charge down the hill on my shield!

Personal Thoughts:

This was a collaboration with my friend Kuroki who had the idea to do an RPG Class Eeveelution group a little over a year ago. I modified her original design a bit to fit my comfort level and to incorporate a few ideas I had. It was tons of fun!
