Construction Details:: CONSTRUCTION NOTES:
This was actually very simple and straightforward to construct. The sequins, which had to be flatlined in a second fabric, got a little bulky after gathering, though.

The bodice is my go-to princess seam bodice, and the circle is two tiers of circles, with some inches added to the waist to make room for box pleats all around. It closes in the back with an invisible zipper. The belt is a separate piece that hooks closed in the back. Black petticoat and pettipants are worn underneath.

The main fabric is Mideival Casa satin from JoAnn, and the underskirt and ruffles are a black sequin fabric flatlined with black taffeta from my stash. The skirts are finished with black horsehair braid to make the hems stand out. The accessories are Bordeaux Casa crepe.

Unfortunately, the seller we bought our chain for the shoulder straps from ran out of stock before all our orders could be sent, so Kie and I used a random chain from Michael's in a pinch. Nessa cast all of the resin accessories (image color gem, stars, and belt buckle).
