Construction Details:

2.5 weeks of staying up until 5am, getting 5 hours of sleep, working an 8 hour job, and then sewing/making this dress for 8-9 hours; it was hardcore.

16 hours of sewing machine embroidery on the gold skirt panels and sleeve bells. 30 hours of hand embroidery on the dress and sleeves. 20 hours of sewing/embroidering/beading leaves and roses onto the neckline. Fully lined in pink cotton, the chambray was color stripped from blue to grey, then dyed to mauve, then patterned in a sunburst design per the references with a flat skirt front and full back with a train.
