Construction Details:

The jacket is made with stretch pleather. The front panel is crepe back satin and attaches to the jacket with snaps (the jacket itself has a center front zipper).


The bracers are craft foam covered with the same crepe back satin, and held together with elastic straps.


The cowl is just a tube I sewed of some leftover spandex. I think I will be remaking it in a different fabric though.


The cape is satin and has shoulder straps. The straps as well as the belt and boot tops are made with stretch vinyl. I used elastic shock cord for the piping on the boot tops, which also helps keep the boots from falling down.


The pauldrons are made with Worbla and craft foam for the thicker borders. The arm plates are foam PVC. I painted the armor with metallic spray paint but I don't like how it turned out. When I have time I want to redo them with Rub N Buff.


I didn't have time to make the helmet for Fanime but I hope to have it for next time I wear this!
