About this Costume
- Personal Thoughts:
- Several pieces of this costume were actually made twice. The shirt is a hemp jersey from Dharma Trading Co., and the arm wraps were made with the leftover fabric. I wear sleeves underneath to help keep the arm wraps in place and prevent bare skin from being visible if the wraps shift. The pants were made from a lightweight, silky Value Fabric from Hancock and patterned off of pajama pants. The body wrap is a linen gauze. The belt and wrist cuff are real leather (my first time working with leather) and the patterns I found on The RPF. The blaster was 3D printed by NerdPrints (http://www.nerdprints3d.com/), assembled and painted by me. The boots were made using clearance flats from Target and a remnant of upholstery fabric. The visible brown parts are actually the underside of the fabric, and the boots are lined with a cotton knit. The bag is made of canvas and was patterned from scratch.
