Alright let's go!



I couldn't wait with making this guy and with my limited resources at school I opted for WALMART BRAND FABRIC got 4 yards of that stuff for 8 bucks. The bodice piece is pretty basic and lined with the same material. I decided to do french seams on the entire piece because I didn't have a serger. The skirt part is two "circle" skirts cut out more like ovals for the cascade. I installed an invisible zipper in the back. The front circle skirt has horsehair braid for the clamp ruffle effect~!



The seam between bodice and skirt is covered by a super fancy gold trim that I fell in love with the instant I saw it. I then sewed on cord along with two types of beads for the dangly pieces. I then sewed bells between every bodice seam because WHY NOT I NEED TO JINGLE.



Then I sewed on a piece of spray painted gold vinyl for the weird breastplate type of thing. I sewed gold trim on the edges and added my straps. The weird bumped pieces around the outer trim of the plate is made from looped beads!



The weird pieces on the plate are made from clay! I tried my hand at making molds so that was fun! They were spray painted and glued on. I hope they don't fall off! ;;;



I did a rolled edge hem on 2.5 yards of chiffon (each) for the wing pieces. They were then pleated and sewed onto the top of the straps. I added a bell for a bit more jingle~







The necklace was made the same way I made the dangle pieces, only on a smaller scale~ There's a clasp in the back!

I'm pretty sure I spent under $50 dollars (including wig) for this guy and considering how "fancy" it looks I'm pretty proud lol~
