About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
I bought this costume and shoes from fm-anime.com. I did replace the neck jewel. I bought an oval like shaped bead and painted a layer of sparkle nail polish so it was shinny. I used clear stretch bracelet string to sew front the top of the opening to the bottom trough the bead then used a jewelry clamp to hold the gem in place in the middle.
My spear head is wood that I painted and shaped, and the body is made of several pieces of PVC that can connect together. There are several segments of chain that connect to small bungee chords in the PVC that hold it together when it separates. - Personal Thoughts:
- I loved doing this costume with my group! I wore it to the premier of booth movie in L.A. My favorite part of this costume was my spear. I may bring this costume out of retirement because I miss it.
Wig Details
- Wig Review
- The ponytail kept pulling the wig back, so I put my hair in a high ponytail and and threaded it through the base wig and clipped the pony tail wig directly too my hair.
