Construction Details:

This was a simple shift dress with the accompanying accessories crafted from plastic sheet and craft foam. Giant gems are simply fillable plastic Christmas ornaments painted on the inside!

Personal Thoughts:

My love for Rayearth stretches all the way back to the days of TokyoPop and the 3rd generation copied VHS tapes we smuggled to each other in the early days of the internet. Magical girls were in, and very little is more magical than Magic Knights. MKR's innocent captive princess is a typical doe-eyed CLAMP character, all flowy dress and tragic expression. I love Emeraude and what she represents.
