Construction Details:

Blouse is double lined lycra with logo done in applique. Skirt is also in lycra and attaches to red bottoms so they stay in place (the red bottoms are also used for red Jasmine, and my first version of Supergirl). The cape is done in peachskin and was reused from my first version.

Personal Thoughts:

I found the PERFECT boots for this version of Supergirl for $5 in the Santee Alley in Los Angeles, and I also plan to double dip on using the boots with Miss America. It was a no brainer, of course, that with one Supergirl costume and these boots that I would have to do this version of Supergirl! <3 I love how classic and cute the look is, though I did make minor changes in the design. I went for a slightly flared skirt instead of a tight one since I am not fond of tight, short skirts. I also went with navy blue for the headband and shirt details instead of black, which I feel is too harsh with her colorful palette. The navy blue softens the look a bit =) Also, didn't get to the gloves for WonderCon, but I'll get them next time I wear this!
