Construction Details:

This costume was completed in a couple of weeks.

I handsewed most of the fur because I thought it looked much better that way.

The armor is made out of foam because I was running low on time. Lots of people asked me if it was real metal though, so I think I did okay.

I hand crafted the spikes and attached them with E6000. They stayed put the whole time.

The ax was my first big prop. I made it with pink insulation foam and resin. It was super light weight, which was perfect.

How to Train Your Dragon has so much heart. I was so happy to portray Astrid.
