Construction Details:

Unbleached muslin, dark green cotton, navy blue cotton, blue stretch ribbon, red and yellow satin ("wrong" side used for matte look).

Personal Thoughts:

My goal with this costume was to learn to draft without patterns, to increase the speed at which I can work, and to make this costume as affordably as possible while still looking good -- I used only muslin and scrap fabric (either from my scrap pile or the remnant bin at Joann) to complete the full costume. And it's so comfortable!

Styling Notes

While not a complex wig style, Alibaba's hair does have a single large spike in the front. I wanted a very natural look, so I carefully crafted a whimsical cowlick in the front.
