The main fabric used on the dress and gloves is a dull satin. The overdress is made from a self-drafted pattern and is fully lined. The bodice has boning, a built in bra, and clear straps for support. The leaf design was hand beaded with a mixture of seed and bugle beads. I used a bridal pattern for the underskirt. The underskirt is gathered and layered with a light blue crepe peeking out. The fleur-de-lis on the underskirt was stenciled and then hand painted all around with a metallic fabric paint. The crown is made from a wire base, metal hair combs, Premo Sculpey, and green glass gems and beads. It was painted with silver Rub 'n Buff and antiqued with black and green acrylic paint and jewelry chains are attached. The hair clip in the back is simply foam sheets painted with gold Rub 'n Buff and attached to a smaller clip. Imagine something similar for the armbands. For the necklace, I bought a large a prism, then added the crown and chain. The wig is a New Look Cher with bangs cut and styled. Underneath the skirt is a bridal petticoat, bought online.
Patterns Used: Skirt: McCalls 4775
