Construction Details:

Materials used: vinyl for the tunic and sheath, stretch satin (dyed) for the bias tape and applique, stretch sateen for the gloves and skirt, satin for the straps, rayon knit for the socks. Armor is craft foam and worbla black. Rapier is made from wood, sintra, craft foam, apoxie sculpt, and resin.

It should not be a hard costume to make, but I keep screwing it up by rushing it.

Personal Thoughts:

I love SAO, and Asuna! I knew I had to cosplay her right away, and she ended up being the costume that got me "seriously" into cosplay. I will never be happy with my cosplay, but I will keep trying. This variation is retired until I reach my weight loss goal but I will continue to make her other outfits.

Styling Notes

Straightened the curls, trimmed the bangs, and sewed in a pack of wefts for length and thickness.

Wig Review

The wig is fairly easy to comb and looks very natural. I wish it were a bit easier to detangle and may use a Silky in the future.
