About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
Shrug was painted green using an airbrush and the same paint as the tail clip.
Corset cover is velour and muslin, with featherweight boning in the bust seams, and studs applied to the fashion layer. It zips up the back and is worn over a steel boned overbust corset. The bias tape is all hand made using microsuede.
Unicorn horn is floral foam, sanded down and carved, and covered with Mod Podge Hard Coat. It mounts to a narrow tab of worbla that slips under the wig.
Boots are the same velour as the corset cover, with plain black worbla for the toe caps, and craft foam used for the heels.
The horseshoes were sculpted out of polymer clay, molded in silicone, and then cast in quick-cure resin and painted. - Personal Thoughts:
- Unicole is from M. Alice LeGrow's upcoming series. http://toyetica.tumblr.com

- How was the wig colored?
- Airbrush
- Styling Notes
- Airbrushed a green gradient into the bottom of the clip.
- Wig Review
- Used a Silky clip since I knew it would see a lot of traffic. Held up fairly well so far. The airbrush paint did kind of reduced the "silkiness" back to about standard quality for Arda.
