Construction Details:

Made the hat, top, and skirt. Hat was patterned with scrap fabrics then I cut it out and stuffed it with polyfill to give it shape. Trims were hand-sewn on. Hat stays on with a headband and some alligator clips. Top is a mix of applique (heat n bond) and lace trim, and the skirt is just a basic ruffled/tiered circle skirt with elastic waistband. Making the costume itself didn't take too long and it was done pretty cheaply because I got the fabrics from a swap meet.
