Construction Details:

Wings made from HDPE plastic for the "bones" with wooden rods for reinforcement. feathers were each made individually with 2 layers of polyethylene packing foam and with a wire in between to simulate real feathers. The longest primary is 48" long.

Personal Thoughts:

Saber and Iri were done as SilverMyst Cosplay's first collaboration project to compete at NDK2016. These costumes took a lot of work as the wings had to be remade several times as there were logistical failures. They are fully articulated, but extremely light weight.
