Construction Details:

Patterns were made by Barracuda and Liebs. We shopped in the NYC fabric distric together for all of the jersey knits. While Barri designed the skirt plaid on spoonflower and was a champ ordering it for all of us.

nBasic pleated skirt, which is lined and serged. Jersey knit on the skirt was also interfaced so it has more weight. It closes with a snap at the waist band since I think it looks nicer than a button. Also fuck button holes.

nBows have interfacing and batting to help keep it shape as well. Gotta love that shit.

nThe trimming on the socks is just a tub of fabric I serged 'cuz lazy lyfe, and just roll it up my leg 'cuz fuck sewing that shit down to a sock.

nShoes were painted at the bottom with leather paint and mod podge. Rhinestones were used for the stars on the side of the shoe as well.

Personal Thoughts:

If you would have told me 6 months ago "Megan, you're gonna cosplay Mami" I would have called you crazy.

Styling Notes

Changed to a side ponytail, trimmed bangs and a little bit of hair straightener magic.
