Construction Details:

I used the Sailor Guardian Instruction Manual from previous ACP Sailor Moon event costumes as a guideline for construction/fabric choices.
It's still not quite complete, but I wanted to test wear it at ALA, so here are a few pictures (:
Things I will be fixing: attaching bows and the collar better, replacing the skirt's temporary hem, maybe a new pair of shoes, and getting the instruction manual-recommended brooch.
It was a lot of fun to make, and I would love to make another scout/version soon!

Personal Thoughts:

Sailor Venus! I finally got to live a childhood dream making this costume. Sailor Moon has been a huge inspiration to me in my creative career and general life, so getting to actually wear the fabled sailor suit was an amazing feeling.
