About this Costume
Construction Details:
Shirt and Dress: I decided to make them in two separate parts! I used some gold chiffon layered on top of some habotai silk. And I had glued about 100 sequins to the top and skirt.

Bodice: My bodice is essentially and unboned corset as boning makes it difficult for me to breathe and hurts my ribs. I bought this fabric off of Etsy, I can't remember the name but its a perfect match! Its very delicate so embroidering it was a challenge! I got the pattern off of The Padawans Guide and spent over 60+ hours on it! But it turned out beautifully! I used my Elsa coronation pattern as a base and used duck cloth to line it :D

Cape: I got my fabric for the cape from a curtain that Wal Mart amazingly brought back!!! I dyed it using Maggie from the Padawans Guide's research from her Meadow dress! I used golden yellow and tan rit dye :D And used Avadado thread to do the edging :D
Personal Thoughts:
So basically ever since I saw Attack of the Clones when I was 12 I LOVED all Padme's costumes and that's basically what inspired me to start cosplaying! Especially this dress! I didn't have the courage to do it because of the embroidery, but this year I've embroidered enough to feel confident to do this!
