Construction Details:

wings: Version 1: done with feathers and aluminum frame with a pulley system to move all six wings. Real feathers are a pain, they are expensive and they will leave you sobbing in the hotel room making ritual sacrifices to a cross roads demon.
Version2: fun foam wings, feathers cut out, and they can BREAK APART so they are more travel compact! far more genius design and allergen safe!
the bird skulls are made from polystyrene heated and pulled over a decorative lawn ball for shape and hand crafted into their form.
magic sculpt was used for the skull on the back along with resin covered cloth for the horns. there is over 20 yards of white fabric of doom in this thing and over 80 yards of 1/4th velvet for the dark line along the sides.

Personal Thoughts:

This was back in 2009, I made moving wing for this and for my friend Shokora (who did Lilith) I really have a lot of fun cosplaying Cain, really I'd rather redo this now that my skills have improved greatly!
