Most of the costume is make of silk, with the white sleeve parts and under skirt made of linen. The cloud patterns were done using navy blue soutache, most of that hand sewn, and needed 30 hours to complete.

- For my third cosplay I completed, I chose an obscure character because the outfit was so lovely. It was also a step up at the time toward more complexity so I could learn more techniques. But because of this cosplay, I began to run across more Twelve Kingdoms fans, which later lead to wonderful gatherings with fellow TK cosplayers.

- The wig needed the bangs cut into it, but little else for styling.

- Tangling was always an issue, I usually kept ribbons tied around it when not involved in photoshoots. Sometimes for outdoor events when it was very windy, I would just use my own hair rather than trash the wig.
