Construction Details:

Dresses are a custom drafted pattern. Princess seams with a bodice lined in duck cloth and outer layer is white quilters cotton. Skirt portion of the dress is 2 layers with one layer of quilters cotton and 1 layer of white suiting. Cuffs are sewn on white fur trim and neckline is trimmed in white housewares trim. Button is one from Joanns that had the perfect Sakura star. Skirt trim is trim that was looped by hand to create a pattern. This was then stitched in V's so that the loops would be free. End of the skirt was trimmed in fur. Caplet is custom drafted. Lined in gold princess satin and outer layer is white suiting. Hood has lightweight boning to keep it stiff. Whole hood and caplet is trimmed with white gold trim. White heels and gold tights were bought. The wreath was a plain base. Leaves were attached one by one and red berries were painted green. Everything was attached and then candle was attached. Ribbon was added and curled.

Personal Thoughts:

Anytime I go to do a CLAMP piece I end up cursing their attention to detail. I wanted to do something different from the traditional red and white Christmas outfits you see so often. This piece of art was perfect and is so wonderfully holiday.
